Hi there! We're having troubles with our shopping cart software right now, so it's in test mode right now. Sorry for the inconvenience, y'all!

An Internet-Connected, Smart Status Light

Canary™ is a cute little device that uses your WiFi to connect to the Internet, look up information that matters to you, distill it down to a single color, then lights up in that color. It’s ready all the time and readable at a quick glance. Your Canary arrives ready to connect to your WiFi and display your local air quality to you.

It couldn’t be simpler! No complicated displays, no squinting at text from across the room, just colors.

Your air quality in color

With a Canary, you can easily check air quality on your way out the door without needing to stop and look it up on your phone or computer. Canary locates itself then looks for local air quality data on public websites like AirNow.gov, then lights up in color using the same scale that AirNow.gov uses.

Super-easy setup

Get your Canary online and working for you fast with the Canary Setup app for iOS and Android. It only takes a minute or two!

Available in your friendly neighborhood app store.

Keeps itself up to date

I’m still adding more features and capabilities to Canary all the time, and you get those features as soon as they’re ready through regular over-the-air (OTA) updates, as long as your Canary is connected to WiFi. Your Canary will start out awesome, then keep getting better over time, and all for this low introductory price.

Sustainability baked in

From the start of the design process for Canary, I’ve tried to ensure Canary is a sustainable product that isn’t actively harmful to the planet. I take every effort to only include components that adhere to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, and to use plant-based materials for manufacturing. Each Canary is 3D-printed in my own shop using a plant-based plastic called PLA, or PLA mixed with real wood fibers. I also only use recyclable or compostable packaging and shipping materials whenever possible.
